If you haven’t gone to the largest gun show (SHOT Show), or the biggest archery show (ATA) you should at least once. You can see new to market guns, knives, bows, and so much more. I am sure each there are products that you may never hear about that are amazing. How I gauge if a product is really innovative or is going to make a big splash. Do you hear about it when you haven’t gone to ATA or SHOT. Well this year was no exception. There were a handful of products that made waves with words that telephoned all the way to my own ears.
The first product that I heard about by word of mouth was the:
1. Garmin Xero A1i bow sight.
The Xero is a range-finding bow sight, that does not have any pins but based on the yardage it projects where you need to aim with the click of a button. This is a pretty cool hunting product.
The next product that I heard about was the NAP Mantis Blinds.
2. NAP Mantis Blinds
I think that it made waves because of its odd shape. It looks something like a tepee with windows. It is a hub style blind that is made for run and gun applications. Might need this one for Turkey season.
The third product that I heard about by word of mouth is the new Tenpoint Stealth NXT Crossbow.
3. Tenpoint Stealth NXT Crossbow
The Stealth NXT is a great crossbow that has a 6 inch width when drawn. It also fires arrows at around 410 feet per second.
The next thing that I heard of is partially because I was able to text and capture creative of a few NEW Benchmade Knives. The one I really love is the Benchmade Altitude.
4. Benchmade 15200 Altitude
The Benchmade Altitude is aimed at taking market share back from the replaceable blade market. It is a super durable and sharp skeleton knife. Featuring a unique carbon fiber micro scales for dexterity and control not typically found in skeletonized knives.
While there are probably more products that stood out and I heard about but these are the ones that really stuck in my mind. I can’t wait to hear what shot show brings.
